Description
Pachyphytum 'Blue Haze' is a succulent plant of the genus Sedum.Pachyphytum 'Blue Haze' has short and erect stems.The leaves are loose in lotus-like.The shape is oblong-ovate.The front of the leaves is flat and the back is rounded.The tip of the leaves has a slight blunt tip.The powder on the leaves ia obvious.When lacking of sunshine,Pachyphytum 'Blue Haze' will turn to white.But turn to pink just look like peach when it gets enough light.Pachyphytum 'Blue Haze' blooms in summer.The inflorescence is short.Flowers are bell-shaped,string-like,red.
How to grow and care
Pachyphytum 'Blue Haze' prefers warm,dry and well-lit environment,drought-tolerant,prefers loose,drainage and permeability soil.It will be dormant for short time in hot summer.Due to the thick and sucullent leaves,less water even in growing season,3 or 4 times is suggested.The leaves will turn to pink when the sunlight is full.They love growing facing the sunlight,so they'd better to be put on the balcony.It is best to turn the basin often.The leaves of Pachyphytum 'Blue Haze' are basically oblong-oval,and they are easy to become flat if they do not get much care.One lovely Pachyphytum,its leaves will be egg shape.Planting Pachyphytum 'Blue Haze' is easy.Part of plant can be directly inserted into the dry granular soil.Less water after few days and it will root quickly.Or you can cut off one full leaves and let its wound dry.Then put it on the soil,the soil needs to be a little wet.It will slowly sprout and grow new plants.
