Echeveria 'Dark Ice' is a succulent with a rosette-shaped form, belonging to the genus Echeveria in the family Crassulaceae. The leaves of 'Dark Ice' are spoon-shaped. When stressed, the greyish-blue foliage can turn deep purple and reddish, which is charming.

Sun/Location: Like most Echeveria succulents, Echeveria 'Dark Ice' is easy to care for. It requires indirect bright sunlight to preserve its color and shape, which means it can be planted outside to receive full sunlight in the spring and fall. For indoor growing, locating it near a bright window to get at least 6-hour sunlight is essential. Echeveria 'Dark Ice' requires shade to avoid sunburn in summer. And frost protection is required during the winter. The stem would grow leggy while lack of sunlight. And this is irreversible.
