Echeveria 'Red hole' has oval, thick leaves with blunt and short pink pointed tips, a variety that easily grows side succulent babies to turn multi-head. Short stems will grow from the rosette and produce pink and yellow flowers.
Compared with most Echeveria varieties, Echeveria 'Red Hole' needs more attention because they don't like growing in a high humid environment with poor circulation. Less water even no water during dormant summer as long as the plant looks healthy.
Echeveria 'Red Hole' prefers a planter with drainage holes to avoid getting too much water. Organic succulent soil mix is popular and provides enough nutrients to succulent plants as they require low fertilizer. You can add perlite, gritty rocks, and tree barks into regular soil to get your own soil.
Unlike some Echeveria varieties, propagating side growing succulents, or beheading E. Red Hole is more efficient and more changeable to get success. Cut off side growing succulents, and place these babies in a bright airy spot for 1-2 days to ensure the callus. Then replant them as usual. Basically, new roots would come out after 2 weeks.
