-About Echeveria 'Snow Angel' (4 inch)-
Echeveria 'Snow Angel' is a succulent rosette with ovate-shaped, slightly thicker leaves that are concave on the front and raised on the back. 'Snow Angel' has a blue-green leaf cloak with a slight reddish coloration at the tip and around the leaf. And since the 'Snow Angel' has a white powdery substance on its surface, it looks like a thin layer of snow covers 'Snow Angel.'
-How to care for Echeveria 'Snow Angel'-
Sun/Location: A bright and aeration location is essential to ensure that Echeveria 'Snow Angel' grows well during its primary growing season (spring and fall). Plump leaves would turn flat and lose their vibrant color for lack of sunlight. Additionally, the white powder on the leaves may start to fade. E. Snow Angel is not cold hardy; thus moving it indoors before winter frost can help it survive. To keep the pink dedicated color and the compact rosette shape, a professional artificial grow light would be helpful.
Soil/Pot: The preferred soil for 'Snow Angel' is loose and well-drainaged succulent potting soil. You can mix peat soil, coarse sand, and other gritty rocks to make succulent soil in a ratio of 3:1:1. While planting E. Snow Angel, a planter pot slightly larger than the dimension of the plant is recommended.
Watering: E. Snow Angel prefers less water than other houseplants. Generally, soaking this plant once per half of a month is enough. It is relatively more challenging to water Echeveria Snow Angel than other Echeveria succulents in hot summer. This variety hates high humidity and heat, which easily leads to rot and fungal diseases. Let it keep thirsty and only water it once a month in summer.
