Description
-About Euphorbia Monstrose-

Euphorbia Monstrose originated in Africa and is various species of Euphorbia Submammillaris, belonging to the Euphorbiaceae family. The peculiar appearance makes it looks like a cactus, with thick ridges dotted with aureoles from which red spines emerge, which is easy to be developed into dense clusters on the nodular surface. There're 5-7ribs lined on the ball-like short and bright green stem. As an ornaments succulent plant cultivar, Euphorbia Monstrose becomes one of the super rare houseplant collections.

-How to care for Euphorbia Monstrose-

Sun/Location: Euphorbia Monstrose prefers full sun to semi-shade, which means it could receive plenty of direct or indirect light. Watch out for sunburn in the hot summer. Light-shading is a good idea during the hottest period in one day. Too much sunlight will cause the leaves to turn yellow, affecting growth and ornamentation.

Soil/Pot: Euphorbia Monstrose loves to sit in the vitalized and porous soil. The ideal succulent soil is mixed with approximately half coarse sand and mineral ingredients. Keep the potting soil dry in winter. When changing the pots in spring, remove the old soil and rotten roots, and keep the potting soil moist. Place indoors for approximately 10 days, and then move out to the balcony to absorb the sunshine.

Watering: Euphorbia Monstrose hates wet feet. Avoid overwatering to make Euphorbia Monstrose rot away. Watering should be restrained during dormancy, keeping the potting soil dry. The temperature gradually rises in early spring, which requires gradual increasing watering. When the day warms up, you can put it on the balcony or the yard while watering should still be slightly restrained not to make too much as appropriate.
