  • Sedum clavatum (Tiscalatengo Gorge Sedum) is a evergreen succulent that has rosette shape forms by round, blueish-green leaves. When Sedum clavatum's blueish-green leaves are stressed, the tips turn a beautiful light pink. The stems lose their leaves as they elongate but are often covered by younger stems so the plant can look like a solid mat of attractive succulent gray colored rosettes. Watch for showy, star-shaped, white flowers in late spring.
  • Sedums need very little attention to care. They will do just as well in less hospitable areas. They needs bright sunlight to develop and maintain their best colors.
  • Sedum are drought tolerant and thrive in well drained soil. It is best to give the plant a good slow drink and allow the soil to dry out again before the next watering.
