    About Sedum Pachyphyllum Rose

Sedum pachyphyllum Rose is a succulent of the genus Sedum in the family Crassulaceae, native to Mexico. The stem is erect, slender rounded leaves grow on the branches, the leaves are bright green in color, with a little white powder, and under sufficient light , it will turn pink, with its slender figure, just like a shy girl.

How to care for Sedum Pachyphyllum Rose

Sun/Temperature: When in full sun, the foliage of Sedum pachyphyllum Rose is colorful, rounded, solid and beautiful. Too little sunlight will cause its leaves to become lighter in color, loosely arranged, and shorter. During the spring growing season, it can easily grow thin if it lacks sun or is overwatered, and it needs shade during summer bursts. But it can be left in full sun during the rest of the year. Autumn is a good time for coloring of Sedum Pachyphyllum Rose as the climate is dry and there is a big temperature difference between day and night. Winter temperatures below 41℉ Sedum Pachyphyllum Rose should be protected from freezing and potting soil should be kept dry.

Soil/Watering: Sedum pachyphyllum Rose prefers loose, breathable, nutrient-rich soil, so you can use regular succulent soil. When watering Sedum pachyphyllum Rose you can use the soak and dry watering method.

Pests and Diseases: It is more susceptible to black spot, which causes spots to appear on the leaves, and this problem can be solved by applying or spraying with a diluted solution of Mancozeb. The heart of the leaf can also harbor mealybugs, which are easy to spot and can be treated with a soapy water solution.
Pot: When choosing pots, ceramic pots and clay pots with drainage holes are preferred as they have stronger water absorption and better ventilation. In addition to selecting attractive pots, top dressing can further enhance their ornamental value.

Fertilizer: Fertilizer can be applied 1-2 times in the spring or autumn.

    Winter shipping

We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.

Please note that The Next Gardener is not responsible for packages that suffer cold damage without a heat pack. We cannot control the weather. Order at your own risk.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Other US Territories

Fortunately, shipping is available to Alaska, Guam, and other U.S. Territories. However, due to numerous factors beyond our control, including customs checks and shipping delays, free shipping to Hawaii and Puerto Rico is not an option. And we can not provide the 14-day quality guarantee for orders going to Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The buyer will assume all risk of damage when a delivery is delayed. We appreciate your understanding.
