About Echeveria Cinderella
Echeveria Cinderella is one of the most beautiful varieties of succulents. It has a compact rosette-shaped plant with thick, neat leaves giving it an elegant look. Its most significant charm lies in the blue-green leaves with pink or purplish edges, creating a striking contrast. Echeveria Cinderella branches quickly, forming old stumps, which increases its ornamental value.
How to Care for Echeveria Cinderella
Sun/Temperature: Echeveria Cinderella prefers plenty of sunlight. Echeveria Cinderella thrives when placed outdoors or given abundant sunlight during spring and autumn. During the rainy season, proper rain protection is necessary. When temperatures exceed 30°F in summer, provide shade and ventilation to control watering, and in winter, protect from cold when temperatures approach 0°F.
Soil/Watering: For planting Echeveria Cinderella, choose loose and well-draining soil mixtures, such as peat/coconut coir and perlite, with a higher proportion of perlite. This succulent exhibits robust drought tolerance, making the "soak-dry" watering method advisable. Ensure the soil dries out entirely before the next watering session.
Pot: Pot selection is crucial for Echeveria Cinderella. Opt for pots with drainage holes to facilitate proper drainage and ensure adequate soil ventilation. This helps prevent waterlogging and promotes healthy root development. Matte-finish pots with elegant texture are more suitable for this temperament.
Propagation: Propagation can be done using offsets or leaf propegation. Cut off small shoots separated from the succulent's root system, let the wounds dry, and then transplant them into new soil to grow into new plants.
Fertilization: Spring is the beginning of the plant's growth stage, requiring sufficient nutrient support; However, avoid excessive fertilization to prevent salt accumulation and root burns.
