About Echeveria Laui (4 inch)
Echeveria Laui, native to the mountainous regions of Mexico, is a succulent plant belonging to the Crassulaceae family. Also known as "Mexican White Rose" or "Powder Puff," this plant forms a rosette with thick, fleshy leaves that are densely packed. Typically, the leaves are coated with a silver-white powdery substance known as "Powder Puff." The leaves are spoon-shaped and have a soft, velvety texture, reaching up to 4 inches in diameter. With a slow growth rate, the plant maintains a compact form, reaching a maximum height of around 6 inches.
How to Care for Echeveria Laui
Sunlight/Position: Echeveria Laui thrives in bright indirect sunlight, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. If the leaves appear elongated and weak, it may indicate a need for more sunlight.
Soil/Pot/Water: Echeveria Laui is very sensitive to overwatering, so you need to choose a well-drained soil and a pot with drainage holes. Watering is recommended by filling the bottom of the pot with water and allowing the plant to absorb it on its own, and making sure that the soil dries out completely after each watering will help the root system to better absorb the water and prevent root rot.
Temperature: This species is sensitive to low temperatures and should be protected from frost. It prefers temperatures between 65 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit, with additional possible warmth required during the winter.
Propagation: Echeveria Laui can be easily propagated from stem cuttings or leaf cuttings.
