Echeveria Olivia
About Echeveria Olivia
Echeveria Olivia is a variety that grows in small to medium-sized clusters. Its leaves are oblong-ovate, short, and green on the surface, and the tips often turn red. The leaf surface is smooth and has reddish spots. The leaves are densely arranged in a rosette, and the lower leaves quickly form a woody stem. In full sun, the red color at the tips of the leaves deepens and the entire leaf turns pink. Echeveria Olivia is prone to forming side shoots, so it is easy to form a burst, as if it were a bouquet.
How to care for Echeveria Olivia
Sunlight/Temperature: Echeveria Olivia should get the right amount of sunlight and temperature to promote healthy growth and a beautiful red color. It can receive full sun, except in summer when it must be kept out of direct sunlight to prevent sunburn on the leaves. It must be kept indoors in the winter to avoid frostbite at temperatures below 30°F.
Soil/Watering: Echeveria Olivia should be grown in a loose, well-draining medium, such as peat/coir and perlite, with a high percentage of coarse sand. This plant is hardy, so watering is optional. You can use the soak and dry watering method. Spring and fall are the growing seasons of Echeveria Olivia, and compared with winter and summer, it needs less water. However, the local climate still needs to determine the exact amount of watering.
Pots: Choose pots with drainage holes and a wide mouth to accommodate its bushy habit and healthy roots.
Propagation: Echeveria Olivia can be propagated by foliar plugs or by removing its branches to take advantage of its clumping habit. When side shoots develop, they can be cut back and left to heal before being inserted into dry soil to take root.

Winter shipping
We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round.
