How to care for Echeveria Roca

Sun: Ensuring sufficient light is crucial for Echeveria Roca to thrive and develop its signature compact growth and lush, thick leaves. Give this lovely succulent 4-6 hours of bright direct or indirect light daily for optimal growth. It's important to note that while Echeveria Roca loves light, it's not a fan of harsh sunlight, especially during summer. Remember to protect your plant from strong direct sunlight to keep its beautiful leaves in perfect condition.

Temperature: Ensure your plant thrives within the optimal temperature range of 60-80°F! In winter, bring it indoors if it's below 30°F; in summer, give it a refreshing outdoor spot, or use an air conditioner if it goes above 90°F. 

Soil: If you're nurturing Echeveria Roca, use fantastic, well-drained granular soil with at least 60% granules to avoid any issues during the summer. Happy gardening!

Watering: Echeveria Roca is relatively drought-resistant, so we should wait until the potting soil is arid before watering. In summer, when the temperature is high, we should strictly control the water and water it once every 15 days or so along the edge of the pot. Water should be completely cut off in winter when temperatures are below 30°F.

Pot: Echeveria Roca will choose a more breathable pot with a mouth about 1-2 centimeters larger than its leaf spread.

Propagation: Echeveria Roca can be propagated by leaf propagation because of its thick leaves, but Echeveria Roca will cluster, but the chance is not high，so use the leaf is the way to propagation ; Step 1 Sterilize your hands or use gloves and pick the healthy, whole leaves of the plant starting from the bottom. After removing the leaves, please place them in a tray or other cool place to dry the wounds. The wounds will heal after 2-3 days and you can touch a little cinnamon. Place the leaves in dry soil in a bright light environment and use a spray bottle to moisten the soil. Once the leaves have rooted, you can water them using the SOAK AND DRY WATERING METHOD.

Shipping Speed

In general, it takes 3 to 10 days for plants to arrive after you place your order. All orders will be shipped out 48 hours after you place them. We ship the orders on work days(from Monday to Saturday) and all year round. In normal conditions, it will take 3-10 days for you to receive the package. Estimated shipping times are offered as needed.

HOLIDAYS: During weeks in which a holiday occurs - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. - shipping may be delayed until the following week.

EXTREME WEATHER NOTICE: The Next Gardener reserves the right to hold shipments during storms or periods of extreme heat or cold. This is to ensure your plant does not suffer while it is in transit.

Winter shipping

We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.

Please note that The Next Gardener is not responsible for packages that suffer cold damage without a heat pack. We cannot control the weather. Order at your own risk.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Other US Territories

Fortunately, shipping is available to Alaska, Guam, and other U.S. Territories. However, due to numerous factors beyond our control, including customs checks and shipping delays, free shipping to Hawaii and Puerto Rico is not an option. And we can not provide the 14-day quality guarantee for orders going to Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The buyer will assume all risk of damage when a delivery is delayed. We appreciate your understanding.
