Echeveria The Next Gardener 'Santorini' is an exclusive branded product of The Next Gardener. It is a stunning hybrid plant with a compact rosette form, growing up to 6 inches in diameter. The plant has thick, fleshy leaves that are spoon-shaped, forming a tight rosette that gives the plant its unique appearance. The light green Echeveria 'Santorini' leaves are a soft, powdery texture that gives this cutie a velvety feel. As the plant matures, the leaves become darker, with reddish-pink edges that add to its visual appeal. When exposed to direct sunlight, the leaves of Echeveria 'Santorini' turn a beautiful shade of pink, making it an excellent plant for outdoor spaces. Sun/Location: Echeveria The Next Gardener 'Santorini' prefers full sunshine to partial shade. It prefers at least 4-6 sunlight hours one day to develop its optimal shape and color. In areas with intense sunlight, it's best to provide a shade net during the hottest parts of the day to prevent sunburn. Protect the plant from frost and extreme temperature fluctuations, preventing the leaf from dropping. In areas with cold winters, it's best to move this cutie indoors to thrive in under
artificial lights.

Soil/Pot: Echeveria The Next Gardener 'Santorini' prefers well-draining soil that evaporates moisture smoothly. It is adaptable to blend coarse sand, and perlite, into the potting soil at a 1:1:1 ratio. Blend some peat moss or coconut coir to improve moisture retention. Repot in warm spring or early summer when the plant is actively growing. Gently move this cutie from its original planter pot and use sharp, sterile scissors to trim any circling or damaged roots to stimulate healthy growth.

Watering: Water Echeveria The Next Gardener 'Santorini' in the morning, as this allows the leaves to dry off before the cooler evening temperatures set in, preventing fungal growth and other moisture-related problems. The soak-and-dry method is recommendable. After watering, allow the excess water to drain out of the pot before placing the plant back in its normal location.

Shipping Speed

In general, it takes 3 to 10 days for plants to arrive after you place your order. All orders will be shipped out 48 hours after you place them. We ship the orders on work days(from Monday to Saturday) and all year round. In normal conditions, it will take 3-10 days for you to receive the package. Estimated shipping times are offered as needed.

HOLIDAYS: During weeks in which a holiday occurs - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. - shipping may be delayed until the following week.

EXTREME WEATHER NOTICE: The Next Gardener reserves the right to hold shipments during storms or periods of extreme heat or cold. This is to ensure your plant does not suffer while it is in transit.

Winter shipping

We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.

Please note that The Next Gardener is not responsible for packages that suffer cold damage without a heat pack. We cannot control the weather. Order at your own risk.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Other US Territories

Unfortunately, shipping is not available to Alaska, Guam, and other U.S. Territories. The transit time is too long, and the plants would be dead on arrival.

Due to numerous factors beyond our control, free shipping to Hawaii and Puerto Rico is not an option. And, we can no longer guarantee orders going to Hawaii and Puerto Rico that get delayed by more than 4 in-transit days. The buyer will assume all risk of damage when a delivery is delayed. Thank you for your understanding.
