Description
-About x Graptoveria 'Debbi' (4 inch)-

x Graptoveria 'Debbi', also known as x Graptoveria 'Debbie' or x Graptoveria 'Deby', is a stunning hybrid succulent between Graptopetalum amethystinum and Echeveria spec. The plum and lump lance-shaped frosty pink to pink-violet foliage with epicuticular wax form the compact rosette, easily growing offsets to form a dense clump. It even shows orange tinges when happily stressed. The orangish to purplish bell-shaped blossoms appear in the arching clusters on the stalks in spring. The powdery and pastel appearance adds the appealing to these ornamental succulents, making them enchantingly attractive.

-How to care for x Graptoveria 'Debbi' (4 inch)-

Sun/Location: Same as most succulents, x Graptoveria 'Debbi' loves to absorb abundant sunlight shining for at least 4-6 hours per day during the growing season in spring to develop its optimal color and shape. x Graptoveria 'Debbi' would be over-long and leggy stems without sufficient sunlight. A shade net or shed is obligatory to protect it from harsh direct sun rays that can potentially harm the leaves. Artificial growth light is integral to keeping from frost in harsh freezing winters.

Soil/Pot: Pick up the plants pot or container for your baby succulent with excellent permeability and a good drainage hole like a ceramic pot, terrarium, etc. x Graptoveria 'Debbi loves to sit in the porous and ventilated potting soil such as blending the peat soil to perlite at 2:1 ratio or blending coconut coir to volcanic stone at 1:1 ratio, evaporating the moisture smoothly to avoid rot roots. Repot in warm spring to upgrade the growth environment, and trim the roots and wrinkled blades at the bottom to help x Graptoveria 'Debbi regenerates healthier.

Watering: Same as most succulents, x Graptoveria 'Debbi' is drought-tolerant. It requires water occasionally and sparingly. The soak-and-dry method is generally applied when the potting soil is bone dry. The immersive watering method is also recommendable if placed in a ventilated and breathable location. What‘s more suitable water is rainwater, distilled water, or filtered water to avoid the mineral deposit. Be careful to water along the edge of the pot to the potting soil instead of the rosette and foliage, preventing waterlogging, bacteria, and fungal diseases.
