Echeveria 'Crispate Beauty' (Rare)
About Echeveria Crispate Beauty
Echeveria Crispate Beauty, a hybrid of Echeveria lilacina. The blue-green leaves with delicately ruffled edges are truly eye-catching. Covered with succulent farina, E. Crispate Beauty's leaves would turn pink-purple, which looks like a fairy dress, elegant and magical. The bell-shaped orange-pink blossom appears in spring to summer.
How to care for Echeveria Crispate Beauty
Sun/Location: Echeveria Crispate Beauty prefers full to partial sun to keep stunning shape and color. Without enough sunlight, the leaves would turn flat and thin, and the curled edges would disappear. You can grow it outdoors from spring to fall as long as the sunshade is provided in the hot summer. Like most Echeveria succulents, E. Crispate Beauty prefers moderate temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C) to live in, it is not a hardy succulent. Provide warm cover or move the succulent plant indoors before the temperature drops to 46.5℉ to avoid succulent frost.
Soil/Repot: Like other live succulents, Echeveria Crispate Beauty enjoys living in a good drainage succulent soil mix that combines regular organic soil with gritty rocks and perlite in a ratio of 3:1:1. For mature Echeveria succulents (generally more than 4 inch in diameter), add more gritty rocks in the potting soil. To avoid root bound, highly recommend you replant the succulents every spring with fresh succulent soil. Trim off any wooden and long hair roots, then repot succulent to a bigger container can encourage the plant to grow healthier and more robust. Click here to learn how to repot succulents.
Water: Echeveria succulents prefer the "soak and dry" watering method. Check the potting soil with a moisture meter or other tools, and ensure the potting soil dry out before every watering. In summer, please leave it in an airy location without direct sunlight, and water it once every month at night for the whole summer. Place this plant near a sunny window and no watering in winter.
Fertilizer: Succulent plants are low-fertilizer houseplants. Compared with liquid fertilizer, professional slow-release succulent fertilizer is recommended to new growers. It can be applied with a specific ratio every spring to promote faster growth.

Winter shipping
We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.
Please note that The Next Gardener is not responsible for packages that suffer cold damage without a heat pack. We cannot control the weather. Order at your own risk.
