About the Vintage Birdcage Succulent Hanging Planter
The birdcage provides a safe and comfortable home for pet birds. Will you raise a bird in it? There is another use. That is amazing! We will use it to plant succulents. Yes, a succulent planter. The Succulent Hanging Planter Includes

1. 20-30 succulent cuttings (depending on your design)
2. U-shaped floral pins for securing succulents
3. Chopsticks or pencils for creating holes
4. 30-60 minutes of free time
How to DIY a living succulent hanging arrangement
1. Fully soak the sphagnum moss in water for 15 minutes, then squeeze out excess water.
2. Open the lid of the birdcage and fill one-third of the space with peat moss.
3. Prepare pre-calloused cuttings and design the arrangement shape.
4. Arrange the succulent cuttings from the inside out, securing them in place with U-shaped floral pins.
5. Fill all the spaces in the hanging planter until you achieve your desired look; the succulent arrangement is now complete.
How to care for a succulent arrangement
Watering: Sphagnum moss has good water retention. We recommend watering thoroughly once a month. You can take off the succulent arrangement and place it in a container with water to let it soak.
Temperature: Most succulents cannot tolerate frost, so they need to be moved to a greenhouse or indoors during winter.
Light: Place it indoors in a location with ample light, providing at least 8 hours of direct sunlight.
Pruning: Regular pruning may be necessary as the succulent arrangement grows to maintain its neat appearance.

Estimated shipping times are offered as needed.
HOLIDAYS: During weeks in which a holiday occurs - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. - shipping may be delayed until the following week.
EXTREME WEATHER NOTICE: The Next Gardener reserves the right to hold shipments during storms or periods of extreme heat or cold. This is to ensure your plant does not suffer while it is in transit.
Winter shipping
We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.
Please note that The Next Gardener is not responsible for packages that suffer cold damage without a heat pack. We cannot control the weather. Order at your own risk.

Fortunately, shipping is available to Alaska, Guam, and other U.S. Territories.
