- About Vintage Iron Birdcage Succulent Hanging Planter-

This birdcage is typically a cylindrical and dome-shaped structure made of white iron wire. The primary use of a birdcage is to provide a safe and comfortable home for pet birds. You can open it from the top dome-shaped structure. Will you raise a bird in it? There is another use. That is amazing! We will use it to plant succulents. Yes, a succulent planter. It's ideal for bringing a romantic and cozy feel to any area. Use it to decorate for a special occasion or enhance the ambiance of your garden, room, or other space by adding some greenery. Let's do it!

-How to plant succulents in a birdcage?-

1. Soak the moss in a bowl or bucket for 5-10 minutes until it is fully saturated.

2. Then, pack the moss tightly at the bottom of the cage with a rope.

3. Now, you can start arranging your succulents!

4. Start with the larger clippings and use a pencil or stick to make a hole in the moss.

5. Insert the clippings into the holes and design your unique succulent arrangement.

6. When arranging the clippings, it's essential to leave enough room for them to grow and not to place them too close together to prevent overcrowding.

Capture a stunning picture of your creation to show your loved ones.

-How to care for it?-

After planting succulents in it, you should pay attention to the condition of the succulents. Take good care of them like your other beloved succulents.

Make sure to water the plant deeply once the moss has completely dried out; just water when the leaves wrinkle and the moss is dry. When watering, use a basin or bucket to collect water under the birdcage so that you don't get dirty and wet the floor.

Hang it in a ventilated and dry place to prevent the iron birdcage from rusting.

We pack all shipments by hand.

We have many years of experience shipping live succulents and cactus plants. We pay close attention to packing and have developed an expert shipping method. All succulents are packed and protected with polypropylene cotton (this is a stuffing used for dolls). We find this is the most effective material for protecting live plants while in transit. It is important to us that you are able to Keep going and Keep growing without any stress about the quality of the product or packaging.

Shipping Speed

In general, it takes 3 to 10 days for plants to arrive after you place your order. All orders will be shipped out 48 hours after you place them. We ship the orders on work days(from Monday to Saturday) and all year round. In normal conditions, it will take 3-10 days for you to receive the package. Estimated shipping times are offered as needed.

HOLIDAYS: During weeks in which a holiday occurs - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. - shipping may be delayed until the following week.

EXTREME WEATHER NOTICE: The Next Gardener reserves the right to hold shipments during storms or periods of extreme heat or cold. This is to ensure your plant does not suffer while it is in transit.

Winter shipping

We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.

Please note that The Next Gardener is not responsible for packages that suffer cold damage without a heat pack. We cannot control the weather. Order at your own risk.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Other US Territories

Unfortunately, shipping is not available to Alaska, Guam, and other U.S. Territories. The transit time is too long, and the plants would be dead on arrival.

Due to numerous factors beyond our control, free shipping to Hawaii and Puerto Rico is not an option. And, we can no longer guarantee orders going to Hawaii and Puerto Rico that get delayed by more than 4 in-transit days. The buyer will assume all risk of damage when a delivery is delayed. Thank you for your understanding.

Sorry. No International Shipping for now!!!
