About Echeveria 'Ben Badis'

Echeveria 'Ben Badis' features pale green to greyish-green leaves. The leaf's tips and keels blushed when stressed in the cooler seasons. They bloom spikes of orange flowers in spring.

How to care for Echeveria 'Ben Badis'

Sun/Location: Like most Echeveria succulents, Echeveria 'Ben Badis' requires indirect bright sunlight to maintain the color and shape form. It can be placed outdoors in spring and fall to get full sunlight. Shade is required in summer to avoid sunburn, it is the best location for succulents to move them by the bright south-facing window. In winter, protection from frost is needed, and please supplement your struggling succulent indoors with grow lights.

Soil/Pot: To ensure the health of succulents, they need porous, well-draining soil to live in. To create an adequate cactus mix, add pumice, perlite, or gritty mix to potting soil to provide the proper drainage. Or you can try the organic soil mix we use for our succulents.

Watering: As the easy-growing succulent, Echeveria 'Ben Badis' requires little watering but doesn't like to sit in wet soil. The best way of watering is the soak-and-dry method. Water thoroughly when the soil is dry. Click here to learn the full guide about Echeveria Care.

Shipping

We pack all shipments by hand.

We have many years of experience shipping live succulents and cactus plants. We pay close attention to packing and have developed an expert shipping method. All succulents are packed and protected with polypropylene cotton (this is a stuffing used for dolls). We find this is the most effective material for protecting live plants while in transit. It is important to us that you are able to Keep going and Keep growing without any stress about the quality of the product or packaging.

Shipping Speed

In general, it takes 3 to 10 days for plants to arrive after you place your order. All orders will be shipped out 48 hours after you place them. We ship the orders on work days(from Monday to Saturday) and all year round. In normal conditions, it will take 3-10 days for you to receive the package. Estimated shipping times are offered as needed.

HOLIDAYS: During weeks in which a holiday occurs - Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. - shipping may be delayed until the following week.

EXTREME WEATHER NOTICE: The Next Gardener reserves the right to hold shipments during storms or periods of extreme heat or cold. This is to ensure your plant does not suffer while it is in transit.

Winter shipping

We insist on shipping succulents to our customers all year round. However due to the extreme winter weather, although we pack succulents with as much protective material as possible, plants are still at increased risk of frost on their way to colder areas. We highly recommend adding one 72-hour heat pack to your order or you can request a hold on the package until it warms up.

Please note that The Next Gardener is not responsible for packages that suffer cold damage without a heat pack. We cannot control the weather. Order at your own risk.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Other US Territories

Fortunately, shipping is available to Alaska, Guam, and other U.S. Territories. However, due to numerous factors beyond our control, including customs checks and shipping delays, free shipping to Hawaii and Puerto Rico is not an option. And we can not provide the 14-day quality guarantee for orders going to Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The buyer will assume all risk of damage when a delivery is delayed. We appreciate your understanding.

Sorry. No International Shipping for now!!!

I am happy with the order!

I made an order of 6 plants. They all came in very good condition. All plants were well packed in one box with some synthetic cotton cover at the top. None of them was damaged. Such a nice care of the plants from this store. You can see them in the attached picture here. They all look healthy. Also, I liked that seller provide name tags for these succulents. Love it! This is my second time ordering from this store. First time I've ordered from this store on Etsy, but it is more expensive there than on this website.
PS. To the owner. I am a member of greg app community for plant enthusiasts and I would like to ask you for a discount for my community. Please message me on my email if you are interested to discuss it.

Great seller!! Will buy again!

Healthy, good size plant, Ben Badis. I tried to buy the smallest one so that it would fit in this terrarium and it does mostly (but it won’t for long). It’s the one in the back that looks like a round pine cone. It has a great root structure which is why it almost didn’t fit. I’m very happy with it.
